MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2017

While the California minimum wage remains at $10.50 and $10.00 per hour (depending on the size of the Employer) through January, 2018, the City and County of Los Angeles each have implemented their own minimum wage ordinance requiring a higher minimum wage, effective July 1, 2017 - - depending on the size of the employer.

County of Los Angeles

And following the City of Los Angeles minimum wage rates, the County of Los Angeles has also implemented their own minimum wage rates.  Employers in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles must pay minimum wage to their employees who perform at least two hours of work in a particular week as follows
